Waxing &
Polishing
From time to time the furniture will
need to be waxed. This should be done
using a soft cloth and beeswax, which
you should then buff using a soft
lint-free cloth. Always work in the
direction of the grain, and do not use
silicon-based sprays or polish.
Spills & Stains
Although our furniture is
treated, we advise you not to place
anything hot or wet directly onto the
surface as staining may occur, so try to
use protective mats or coasters. Should
you spill any food or liquid on the
wood, wipe it off immediately with a dry
cloth. If the wood becomes marked,
gently rub it down with extra fine wire
wool in the direction of the grain, and
restore the finish using beeswax.
Direct Sunlight
Position your furniture away from direct
sunlight and heat, where practicable.
This will protect the wood from fading,
and help avoid any cracking and movement
in the joints.

Good
looks and an excellent value for the
money
Mr R Woseley, Deal, Kent
I rarely order furniture online, but
the cost of a similar looking set at
my usual furniture store (offering
'under prices') was nearly double,
so I took a chance and ordered this
7-pce contemporary dark wood dining
set to replace a traditional-style
oak set. A day or 2 after order
placement, I received a call to
confirm my order and provide
delivery details. The set arrived on
time (within 7-10 days of order).
The set is made entirely of
furniture-grade hardwood (no cheap
mdf here!) and of course already
assembled except for the table legs.
Only negative comment is that I
would like some seating pads,
but I am sure I can hunt some
out on the internet. Compared to
other similar looking,
comparably priced, but sometimes
lesser quality sets I saw, this
7 pce set represents a
very good investment, which I'm
confident will provide years of
reliable service and will hold up to
daily use by my family of 4. |
