When does my credit card get charged?

Your credit card will get charged 24-72 hours after you place your order. We have a "Pre-pay" policy to protect ourselves from fraudulent orders.

Shipping to Mainland UK is free.

We do not have a physical store front, selling online is a more efficient business model that allows us to offer a much larger selection and better prices than most retail stores.

Much of our furniture is assembled, but some of it is quick and easy to assemble easy quote.

How will my furniture ship?...

All deliveries are undertaken within 30 days from the point of order of in stock items. A member of our friendly staff will contact you 1-3 days before your delivery to confirm the time and date. On the day of delivery, the driver will contact you 1 hour prior to arrival to confirm the exact time (so you don’t have to wait in all day).

With regards to delivery arrangements, the customer will be informed of an impending delivery via telephone or email, a minimum of two days in advance of the delivery date.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they are available, or have made the necessary arrangements to accept the product on the stated delivery date. In order to keep delivery costs low, our couriers only make one attempt at delivery. If the customer is unable to accept the delivery on the first attempt, a second delivery charge will be levied

Customers please note that our insurance policy only covers us for delivery to your door, and does not extend to moving furniture up steps or inside the property. As a result, although our friendly drivers will be of assistance wherever possible, we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused. In most cases, we operate a one-man delivery service, so please ensure that help is available particularly if you have ordered large or bulky items.

What Is Your Warranty/Guarantee Policy?

7 Day Money Back Guarantee

You have the right to return an item to our warehouse providing that you inform us by e-mail within 7 days of the item being delivered to you and that the item MUST come back to us with all the original wrapping. Because we are confident in the quality of our pieces and the representation of our products in the advertisements, the carriage costs relating to the return will be at the buyer’s expense unless extenuating circumstances are agreed by Cadence Furniture. All return items must be in the original wrappings and unused and unassembled (if applicable). Therefore please be very careful when un-wrapping the items to keep the wraps intact. This is essential to avoid damages on return. Responsibility for items damaged during return because of inadequate wrapping lies with the buyer.

We reserve the right to choose the most appropriate carrier to undertake a collection in order to minimise transit damage and make the collection easier for our customer. Because the items were purchased “at a distance”, our seven day guarantee allows you a closer inspection of the item first-hand, but also allows us to be able to re-sell the item as brand new if it is not what you require. If the item is not re-sellable as new when returned, we are unable to issue a refund

Who Handles Customer Service?

We strive to carry quality brands and deliver your new furniture in perfect condition. If you need service on furniture, we will do everything we can to help you. The manufacturer usually handles part replacements, etc. We will do everything we can to make sure you are satisfied.

Damaged Items

The majority of our items are shipped using a specialist furniture removal company. When the item is delivered, you will be asked to sign for the delivery. Please ensure that you inspect the item thoroughly before signing to accept the delivery. If for any reason, you do not wish to accept the delivery, do not sign for it as this will make our damages insurance void. If you discover damage please contact Cadence Furniture by telephone within 15 minutes of delivery. This gives us the option of sending the courier back immediately to pick the item up, enabling us to keep carriage charges to a minimum. If you sign for an item and subsequently discover that it is damaged or unwanted for any reason, we will replace the furniture free of charge, but you may be liable for the carriage costs incurred in returning the item

With regards delivery dates, if the item is not in stock, we may not be able to meet the original promised delivery time with the replacement and are not liable for this. Note, that due to our insurance terms and conditions, CUSTOMER MUST SUPPLY CLEAR DIGITAL IMAGES OF ANY DAMAGE PRIOR TO A REPLACEMENT BEING ISSUED.

What is the Return Policy?

You have the right to return an item to our warehouse providing that you inform us by e-mail within 7 days of the item being delivered to you and that the item MUST come back to us with all the original wrapping. read more here

Generally on all items the return policy is that you are responsible for round trip freight if the furniture has already been shipped/produced. Please contact us and we will assess your situation.  On Free Shipping items the shipping charges are included in the price but you will still be charged for round trip shipping costs incurred by Cadence Furniture. Please be careful when ordering your furniture and let us know if we can be of assistance in selecting the right furniture for your situation. Always measure the space you are placing the furniture. Sorry we cannot accept returns for furniture that you have subsequently assembled. Any returns must be in their original packaging. Items will not be authorised for return after 7 days from the delivery date. Your credit card will be refunded once the manufacturer receives the returned item.

Can you customise the furniture?

No. We cannot get any of our furniture customised.

Are finish colours accurate?

We do our best to accurately show the finish colors of each piece we carry, however colors can vary by personal perceptions, monitor type and age, video card differences and printing variations.

With regards to our wood furniture, we endeavour to give the best portrayal of colour, but we cannot accept colour or shade differences occurring from piece to piece as faults. As a general rule, dark items look lighter in reality, and light items look darker in reality. A close match is more likely if you purchase two items at the same time because they will come from the same batch. upholstery fabric, we highly recommend that you contact us to obtain a sample prior to purchasing if an exact colour match is required. If you are unhappy with your purchase because of a shade difference or any other reason, we are willing to offer a refund as long as we are informed within 7 days. However, original carriage charges and collection costs will be at the buyer’s expense, and the returned item must be resellable as 'brand as per the terms stated in the section entitled 'damaged items'

Delivery

Unless otherwise stated, all delivery dates are given in 'working days'. We endeavour to be as accurate as possible with our quoted delivery dates and the majority of pieces are delivered either on-time or before the stated date. Very occasionally due to the nature of our business (many items are imported), and because our stock changes so quickly, it is possible that delivery dates may vary due to circumstances beyond our control, for example, being held up at customs, damage during transit, etc. In this event, we will endeavour to keep you informed to the best of our knowledge, but cannot be held liable for losses incurred. Refunds are not offered for late deliveries unless the original delivery date is exceeded by 40%. In order to remain competitive, please note that all deliveries are either charged at cost, or subsidised by Cadence Furniture.
